Introduction
The WGC Sustainability Research Network is a collaborative, non-exclusive, non binding, voluntary virtual research network for organisations interested in sustainability research in the Wimmera, Glenelg Hopkins and Corangamite Catchments.
The network is open to anyone interested in sustainability research including (and not limited to) industry groups, community groups, CMAs, government organisations and universities.
This website aims to explain what the network can provide, allow communication with current network members and enable new organisations to join.
Vision
The communities of South West Victoria are informed and engaged in the sustainability of the region through participation in the Network.
Objectives
1. To inform the community about past, present and future research projects and ideas that contribute primarily to environmental sustainability, but also the economic and social sustainability of south west Victoria
2. To provide a platform for collaboration and identification of projects on sustainability research for south west Victoria
3. To encourage and support knowledge transfer of research outcomes between the community, managers and researchers in south west Victoria.
