| 2008 Annual Research Conference - University of Ballarat |
 The University's annual one-day Research Conference will be held on Wednesday the 5th of November 2008.
The aim of the conference is to showcase the exciting research work being conducted by our higher degree by research students and early career researchers, and to promote the significance and applicability of this research knowledge to the national benefit.

| CRC Review calls for program overhaul |
The Review of the Cooperative Research Centres Program, commissioned as part of the Reivew of the National Innovation System, has recommended that the program should be “refreshed, refocused and modified” and granted a “modest increase in funding”.
